About

reBOOTS is a western bar in Stuttgart-Süd, which is an unlikely thing for a queer bar to be and is exactly the point. Wood panelling, a saloon look, and a motto the bar prints on everything: Stiefel trifft Pömps, boots meet pumps.

It took over the run-down BOOTS bar and was gutted and rebuilt. What came out is less a drinking room than a programme: karaoke, saloon bingo, quizzes, comedy, and a dense run of Stammtische that different parts of the community host there, among them a queer women's get-together, a puppy Stammtisch and a sex-positive one. The bar also rents itself out as an event space.

Cocktails, regional wines, beer and snacks. Everyone is welcome, which the bar states plainly, and the crowd is largely LSBTTIQ.
