Café Monroe's is a gay bar in the middle of Stuttgart, on the pedestrianised Schulstraße between the Markthalle and the Rathaus. It is decorated around Marilyn Monroe, thoroughly, and has been there long enough that the theme reads as history rather than a gimmick.
It calls itself your gay bar in town and is exactly that: a plain bar with seats out on the street, karaoke a couple of times a week, and party nights around CSD. The crowd is mostly men and mostly local. Cash only.
The bar shares its operation with Studio Gaga, a queer space in the city, and the two run joint events.
