Klub Einblick is the queer communication and counselling centre for Schwerin, on Lübecker Straße a short walk from the main station. It has been running since 1989, which makes it older than any bar in the city.
Trained volunteers give counselling on coming out, on sexual and gender diversity and on health, by phone and in person, at set times and by arrangement. The club also runs a café, redone in 2021, with a seating corner and a fireplace corner. Through the year there are self-help groups, film evenings, workshops and a Friday café.
With CSD Schwerin e.V. and the state association LSVD Queer MV it puts on the fortnight of queer culture that leads up to Schwerin's CSD. Anyone queer is welcome, and so are their friends.
