Qilin Sauna is the central of Saarbrücken's two gay saunas, tucked behind the cinema passage on Lampertstraße and named after the Chinese qilin, which also sets the decor.
Inside there is a dry sauna and an aroma steam bath, quiet rooms to lie down in, TV rooms, single cabins, a cruising area and a lounge where drinks are brought to you. It is a smaller and more contained place than the sauna out in the east of the city, and the walk-in location makes it the easier one to reach without a car.
Towels and slippers can be rented at the counter if you arrive without. Younger guests get a reduced rate.
