CSD SaarLorLux is the Christopher Street Day for the Saar, Lorraine and Luxembourg region, and it is built as a cross-border event rather than a city one. Saarbrücken sits a few kilometres from the French border and about an hour from Luxembourg, and the parade draws people from all three countries.
The weekend runs in two parts. A street festival on Mainzer Straße opens it, with stalls, information stands and a stage, and the demonstration goes through the city centre. The 2026 edition brought 69 floats and walking groups, up to 12,000 people in the parade and around 80,000 visitors over the two days. The organisers call it one of the largest queer festivals in south west Germany.
It is put on by the Saarland branch of the queer civil rights association LSVD+, whose office and counselling centre stands on Mainzer Straße, the same street the festival runs on. The CSD marked its twenty-fifth anniversary in 2024, and each edition carries a motto with the political demand the parade is built around.
