About this Event
The first CSD in Öhringen is a rally on the market square rather than a parade, with music and information stands. The group organising it is young, doing it for the first time, and reachable by mail or through their Instagram.
Öhringen is the largest town in the Hohenlohekreis, a rural district in the north of Baden-Württemberg with no queer venue and no centre. Anyone wanting a CSD nearby has until now gone to Heilbronn or Schwäbisch Hall.
A rally on the market square in a town of this size is a different thing from a city parade. It happens where people do their shopping, in front of people who did not come for it, and that is the point.
