Blowmax is a sex cinema and erotic shop in Lirich, a district west of Oberhausen city centre. Behind the shop there are video cabins, gloryholes, darkrooms and open cruising areas.
The venue provides lockers, a shower and a changing room, and there is a bar for drinks. Parking is free, and a rear entrance off the yard lets guests come and go without using the street door.
The crowd is mixed rather than exclusively gay, and the venue sets aside regular sessions aimed at gay, bisexual and trans visitors. The shop at the front sells DVDs, toys and hygiene articles.
