About this Event
The second CSD in Nürtingen was set for June and was moved after extreme heat made the original date unworkable. It now runs in September, which is worth knowing because half the calendars still carry the old date.
The day opens with a rally at the town hall with speeches and a theatre piece, then a march of about 1.5 kilometres through the town, then a street festival back at the town hall with drag performances, music and information stands. The motto is Jetzt erst recht.
The organisers are an open collective rather than a registered association and meet at a bar collective in the town. The local university of applied sciences calls on its students to take part, which for a town this size is real institutional backing.
