The NY.Club is Munich's only exclusively gay nightclub and one of the oldest, dating back to the eighties as the New York Club. It moved to Elisenstraße near the main station, about 800 metres from its old address, and celebrated 44 years in 2026.
There are two very different nights. The pop and chart night pulls a young, international crowd. The house and electro night draws an older one and books DJs from further afield. There is a dark room.
It describes itself as a party living room for the queer community rather than a superclub, though it is the biggest room in the Munich gay scene. Freddie Mercury danced in the original.
