Kraftwerk is the large corner café-bar where Müllerstraße meets Thalkirchner Straße, which puts it at the entrance to the gay quarter and makes it the default meeting point before everything else.
It runs all day: coffee, cake and light Mediterranean-leaning food during the day, cocktails and loud music at night. There are tables out on the pavement and a roof terrace.
The crowd is gay, lesbian and everyone they bring along, and it is busiest in summer when the outdoor seating spills across the corner.
