CAMP is a men-only cruise bar on a quiet side street just south of Müllerstraße, a minute from the main run of gay bars. It was the first place in Munich to show porn, back in the seventies, when it was called Fred's Pub.
The front is a normal, well-lit bar. Behind it is the dark room, which the city's tourism board calls the largest in Munich. Camouflage netting, slings and glory holes are part of the fittings. Fetish-friendly without a dress code.
Every opening night runs under a different motto, so the crowd and the rules shift depending on when you turn up. Cash only.
