Galileo City Sauna is a gay sauna and wellness club in the center of Mannheim, a short walk from the Wasserturm and the pedestrian shopping streets. Entry is restricted to men aged 18 and over, and the crowd runs from a younger student-and-twink set to a regular older base, with pricing tiers built around that split.

The building spans several floors and includes a Finnish dry sauna with large windows overlooking the shower and steam-room area, a steam bath the venue itself describes as one of the more elaborate ones on the German scene, and a small cinema with flatscreen monitors showing adult films. There are two separate cruising zones on different floors, done up in contrasting styles (one brighter, one dimmer), each with two slingrooms and private rest cabins. A darkroom with a ridged aluminium and red epoxy floor connects the cruising areas to the cinema. Outside there's a fresh-air terrace area next to the sauna section, plus a rooftop terrace and a smoking lounge with balcony reported by visitors.

Shoes for the wet areas (Badeschuhe) are compulsory; you can rent a pair at the counter if you don't bring your own. Drinks at the bar are described as affordable. The sauna also runs periodic mixed sessions that admit women alongside men, and separate youth-oriented discount pricing for guests under 26/29, alongside its standard adult tariff.

It's easy to reach without a car: Mannheim's tram and bus network stops within a couple of minutes' walk (Wasserturm, Kunsthalle or Tattersall stops), and the main train station is close enough to make the sauna a viable stop for people passing through the city.
