CSD Magdeburg calls itself the largest CSD in Saxony-Anhalt, and it is run entirely by volunteers. The day combines a demonstration through the city for equal rights and self-determination with a street festival.
The festival sits on the Domplatz, the square between the cathedral and the state parliament. 2027 is the second year it is held there, after it moved from its old location in 2026.
Two weeks of CSD action days lead up to the parade, with smaller events across the city. The route and the stage programme have not been published yet.
