Location 25 is a small event room in the old Stecknitzfahrer guild house on Hartengrube, a quiet old town street that runs down towards the water. It seats about 32 people, more for a standing reception, and it has a bar of its own. It calls itself the good parlour of the Hartengrube.
Lübeck's monthly queer meet-up is held in this room, and the association that organises the city's Pride works from the same address. The rest of the programme is a mix of private bookings and public evenings: live music, readings, film nights and game nights. There is a photo studio and an art room in the same house.
There is no kitchen, so food is either brought in or arranged with an outside caterer. The building is listed. A brewery put up the present house in 1904 on the site of the guild's own hall, which the salt traders who worked the Stecknitz canal had owned since 1563. Outdoor seating is set out in warm weather.
