A club sauna in the middle of Leipzig, open since 1996 and generally named as the largest of its kind in Germany, spread over some 2,500 square metres. It sits on Otto-Schill-Straße, a few minutes from the Gottschedstraße nightlife, with the Cocks Bar in the same building.
The programme is unusually structured for a sauna. There are foam parties, a bear sauna on a rotating Saturday, colour-coded nights, a quiet Zen session, and Aids-Hilfe Leipzig runs a testing service on the premises. Massages are offered.
The door policy is written down and worth reading first. It is a men's sauna: cis men are welcome, trans men and genderqueer people on a masculine spectrum are assessed clothed at the door, and trans women are admitted on the Open Days rather than in regular hours, when the sauna is open to all genders and identities. Common areas including the bar and the whirlpool are on camera, and entry closes an hour before the sauna does.
