COCKS Bar

A men-only cruising bar in central Leipzig, running since 2005 and billed as the largest in Saxony. It shares the Otto-Schill-Straße address and the operator with the Stargayte sauna, so the two work as one destination.

Inside there is a bar, a cruising kino, a darkroom you can take your drink into, and booths. A cloakroom takes coats, large bags are not allowed in, and there is a smoking area now that the rest of the room is smoke-free. Minimum age is eighteen.

It opens on late nights rather than daily, and the nights carry themes with dress codes to match: Just Cocks, a Lights Out night built around the darkroom, a mask party in underwear or nothing. Its own line for itself is "only for men, just for fun", which is a fair description of the place.
