Jogi's has been running on the Neue Linner Straße since September 1986, in rooms that were a brothel before that. It is a club and a pub at the same time, small enough to talk across the bar and large enough for a dance floor, and it has outlasted almost every other disco in Krefeld.
Gay and straight guests have shared it from the start, and that is the design of the house rather than an accident of who turned up. The music is chart and party pop, the age range is wide, and for want of a dedicated gay club it is what the city has.
It is a short walk from the Altstadt and from the main station, which is part of why it has lasted.
