CSD Königs Wusterhausen 2026

29 Aug 2026, 15:00 - 15:00 | Königs Wusterhausen, Germany

About this Event

Königs Wusterhausen holds its first Christopher Street Day in 2026. The town sits at the southeastern end of the Berlin S-Bahn network, in the Dahme-Spreewald district, and the association behind the day works on democracy and against the far right across the district rather than on queer politics alone.

The demonstration gathers on the station forecourt and moves through the town as a loud, flag-carrying procession to the Festwiese, where the day finishes. The organisers ask people to bring friends, rainbow flags and placards.

Brandenburg's interior minister is taking part in the march, and a far-right youth group has announced a counter-protest. Both are worth knowing before setting off. A first CSD in a Brandenburg town of this size is a political event in a way that a march through a large city no longer is.
