Erdbeermund is an erotic store in the Kesselheim industrial park, north of the city on the far side of the Rhine, and it is the main indoor cruising address in Koblenz. The shop floor covers around 800 square metres, with toys, fetish clothing, lingerie and a large DVD section.
The part that matters for gay visitors is the cinema behind it, roughly 400 square metres over several themed rooms. Gay rooms sit alongside lesbian, SM and trans rooms, there are more than two dozen screens running different films, and the cabin area has glory holes and lockable rooms. Lockers are available against a key deposit.
This is a mixed venue rather than a gay-only one, and straight couples and single men use the same building. It belongs to the Erdbeermund chain, which runs stores in several German cities. The location is industrial and out of the centre, so it is a drive or a bus ride rather than a walk from the old town.
