Kurioos is a bar and lounge in the Koblenz old town, on Altenhof just off the Altstadt's pedestrian streets. It is the city's only dedicated queer pub, and it describes itself as a safe space. The room is small, the decor is deliberately odd, and the crowd mixes regulars from the local LGBTIQ+ scene with straight friends and neighbours.
Two formats fill the place reliably. There is a bingo night that is loud and not remotely serious, and a karaoke night that draws whole groups rather than solo singers. Themed parties turn up around Halloween and similar dates. The rest of the time it works as an ordinary pub: drinks, coffee, something light to eat, conversation.
The bar runs no website of its own. Its Facebook and Instagram pages carry the calendar and are where regulars find out what is on.
