Novum is an erotic market of about 800 square metres in the commercial area on Merkurstraße, out by the A6, with a cinema section attached. It is a branch of a German chain rather than a gay business, and the cinema is the reason it turns up in the German gay guides.
The cinema has eleven rooms, single and shared cabins, and one cabin with a sling. A few hundred films are on the selector at the cabin. There are areas set aside for gay guests and a room for couples, and a regular couples day runs alongside the normal programme.
There is parking at the door. The shop floor covers the usual range of toys, lingerie, fetish gear and drugstore items.
