IYKYK Queer Bar

IYKYK opened in March 2025 on Pariser Straße, out towards the western edge of Kaiserslautern, and calls itself the only queer bar in the KMC, the Kaiserslautern Military Community around the American installations. The bar describes itself as Black, woman and queer operated.

It is a cocktail bar. The weekly programme runs to karaoke, a trivia night and a party night. The room is small, so the crowd tends to mix rather than split into groups. Rainbow flags hang by the counter and the seating is part bar stools, part low armchairs around small tables.

Guests are a mix of locals and Americans from the base, and the bar says plainly that allies are welcome alongside queer guests. The room can also be rented privately outside its own nights, with rental agreements in English and German. Parking outside is free.
