About this Event
Christopher Street Day in Hanau takes up the last weekend of June 2027, Friday 25 and Saturday 26 June. The Saturday is the demonstration: it starts with a rally on Freiheitsplatz in the afternoon and then marches through the city centre to the Olof-Palme-Haus in Kesselstadt.
The CSD is run by CSD Hanau e.V., a volunteer association founded in 2018 that works across Hanau, the Main-Kinzig district, the Wetterau and the Vogelsberg. Beyond the CSD weekend it runs political and cultural events through the year.
The Friday is the quieter half of the weekend. In recent years it has opened with an evening event at the Olof-Palme-Haus before the march the next day.
