Hamburg's Christopher Street Day is one of the largest Pride demonstrations in Germany, and the 2027 march is set for Saturday 7 August. It is organised by Hamburg Pride e.V., the association that runs the city's CSD and the Pride Week around it.
The day is a political demonstration first. Floats from queer associations, clubs, sports teams and businesses join the march alongside a very large crowd on foot, and the route runs through the city centre. Expect the inner city around the Alster to be busy for the whole afternoon.
The route, the motto and the stage programme for 2027 have not been published yet. The weekend is also the high point of the year in St. Georg, the neighbourhood around Lange Reihe where most of Hamburg's gay bars are.
