SlutClub has been part of St. Georg since 2004 and is the largest gay fetish club in Hamburg. Its name is known well beyond the city.

The layout puts a generous bar area at the front and the play areas behind it: wet rooms, bondage fittings, a cruising maze in the darkroom section, douching facilities, showers and three slings. Free cruising packs, supplied by Hein & Fiete, and latex gloves are laid out at every opening and at every event.

Wednesday and Friday nights run without a dress code, which makes them the easier choice for anyone looking the place over for the first time. Plenty of guests turn up in gear regardless. Saturday keeps its dress code. What counts as gear has widened over the years: leather, rubber and army are still there, and naked parties, sportswear, neoprene, jocks and harnesses have come alongside them. The club takes the view that the mix works, with workwear and skingear in the same room as men wearing a jock and a harness and not much else.

Entry is restricted to gay men. The club states that trans people, crossdressers and men in women's underwear are not admitted, on the grounds that they would not find the crowd they are looking for there.

For all the play space, the house does not see itself as a pure sex venue. The team says it is happiest with guests who make contact, are not shy about being seen, and will stay for a beer and a conversation as much as for the night itself.
