The Piccadilly is Hamburg's oldest gay bar, open on the Silbersacktwiete off the Reeperbahn since 1958, and still one of the most honest little rooms on St. Pauli. Under a new owner it has kept its old character while picking up a fresh crowd.
It opens from Thursday to Sunday and shifts through the week, from evening drinks to a Sunday afternoon of coffee and bingo. Small, plain and welcoming, it is a piece of Hamburg queer history that still works as a bar.
