Daddys Bar is a Kiez bar on the Talstraße in St. Pauli, a dark, moody room with rough stone walls, leather booths and a neon sign over the bar. It is open to everyone and does not call itself a pure gay bar, but it runs a strong queer programme and has become a fixture of the St. Pauli scene.
Entry is free and the crowd is mixed and easy going. Changing DJs play at the weekend, and the bar puts on regular queer and themed nights, from Pride parties to collaborations with local queer collectives.
