The Bellini Bar opened in 2002 on the Danziger Straße, just off the Lange Reihe, and has become a fixture of the St. Georg scene. It runs on an Italian theme, with a stylish interior, espresso and drinks, and small tables out on the street.
The bar calls itself a mecca of the Hamburg gay scene. It draws gays and a mixed, easy crowd, and works both as an early-evening spot for a coffee or an aperitivo and as a late bar.
