Zu Marleen is a restaurant in Halle's Lutherplatz quarter built around its own travesty show. The house production, Janishow, mixes music, comedy and dance, and a show evening works as a sit-down meal with the performance in the same room.
The audience is a mix of the local gay scene, birthday and anniversary groups, and people who booked for the show rather than for the genre. Tickets for show nights are sold in advance.
The restaurant also takes company and family celebrations, with or without a show on the bill.
