Höhepunkt is a sex shop with cinema rooms behind it, on Wanner Straße in Bulmke-Hüllen, east of the city centre. Two rooms run films continuously, one gay and one hetero, side by side under the same roof.
Past the screens there is a darkroom fitted out with furniture and glory holes, two further rooms with glory holes, and one with a bench. Sex cabins and lockers are there for anyone who wants them. The rooms are small and dark and the fittings have aged, and most of what happens is concentrated in the gay screening room and the room with the bench.
The shop at the front carries toys, magazines and a rental selection. The venue says of itself that it is no longer an insider tip in the Ruhr area scene.
