Metropol is the gay sauna in the middle of Frankfurt, at the Konstablerwache, with the entrance on Schwedenkronenplatz rather than on Konrad-Adenauer-Straße itself. The house calls itself the largest gay sauna in the city.
The wellness side has a hamam and a dark sauna. The cruising side is the larger half: a darkroom, slings, and cruising areas laid out over several levels. There are private cabins to rent alongside the free ones, a weights room, a hygiene room, and massage from man to man. A bar and bistro serve food.
Themed nights run through the week and foam parties fill the place with foam to the ceiling. The house states that all gay men including trans men are welcome. A loyalty stamp card also counts at the operator's second sauna in Essen.
