Zum Schwejk is the oldest gay pub still running in Frankfurt, a few steps off the Zeil in Schäfergasse. The room is small and covered in framed film stills and pin-ups, with a mirror ball over the tables.
The music is German Schlager and pop, and the crowd covers every age group, locals and tourist groups alike. Smoking is allowed inside, and there is seating on the street from spring to autumn. No food is served.
The bar puts no WiFi in the room on purpose and says so on its own site: the point is to talk to the person next to you. Entry is 18 and over.
