TWIST is the LGBTQ+ bar of Alt-Sachsenhausen, on the other side of the Main from the Alte Gasse cluster. It reopened at this address in April 2025 after moving out of the city centre.
The room runs over two floors, bar below and dance floor above, in black with a sound system the bar put in when it moved. The focus is cocktails and good spirits rather than cheap rounds. Music is a mix of 90s, chart and house, with DJs on selected nights.
Entry is always free. Friday and Saturday are the nights it fills, often with a queue outside.
