Lucky's has been part of the Frankfurt scene for more than forty years. It spent most of them in Schäfergasse and moved to Große Friedberger Straße in 2012, into a passage a short walk from the Konstablerwache.

The programme is the reason to come: karaoke nights, drag, bear lounges and cocktail happy hours run through the week. The terrace fills up first in good weather and is usually the busiest part of the place. Smoking is allowed inside.

The bar calls itself a place for gays and friends, and the mix on a normal evening bears that out. Bring cash, several guides note that cards are not taken.
