Comeback sits on Alte Gasse, the short street that holds most of Frankfurt's gay nightlife. It is a small bar with a lounge at the front. At the weekend a DJ takes over and most of the room becomes a dance floor.
The crowd is the most mixed on the street. Guides describe gay men, trans women, straight women and, on some nights, sex workers and their clients, which gives the bar a rougher and more sociable character than the places a few doors along. It keeps going long after the rest of the quarter has emptied out.
The bar runs no website. Facebook and Instagram carry whatever is on.
