Pleasure is a sex shop on Weimarische Straße in Daberstedt, southeast of the old town, with a cinema behind it that runs to about 200 square metres. The shop side sells toys, DVDs and hygiene products.
The cinema has two screening areas, one gay and one straight. Single booths near the entrance each hold around a thousand titles. Beyond them are double cabins with glory holes, two larger cabins with sofas, and a lockable darkroom with a stage in it. Drinks are served.
The crowd is mixed rather than exclusively gay: bi and gay men, crossdressers and trans people, and couples. The rooms are modern and kept clean, and the cabins that lock make it workable for anyone who wants privacy rather than the open areas.
It is a short way out from the centre and easy enough to reach on foot or by tram.
