A café and bar on Bunsenstraße in Friedrichstadt that opened in February 2023 and was reported at the time as a new bar for the queer community. It runs as a café in the mornings and turns into a bar in the evening.
The programme is the point. Bingo nights, darts, themed parties and a Sunday brunch fill the week, and outside groups use the room: the queer centre has run a joint event here, a polyamory meetup moved in as its regular venue, and queer political groups have held public meetings in it.
That mix is what marks it out from a bar that merely welcomes queer guests. It is a room the local community actually programmes.
