PICKUP is the men's cruise club of Dresden, in the same building as the Valentino cafe on Jordanstraße. It is men only, and it says so plainly: a place where men can be among themselves.
The layout is compact. A men's bar with a porn lounge and a big screen, a darkroom, a glory hole and a sling. There is no dress code, and fetish interests are welcome rather than required. Theme parties run through the year.
The club keeps a visible link with Aids-Hilfe Dresden and runs its own store alongside the bar. Being upstairs from a cafe makes it an unusually easy first visit for anyone who has not been in a cruise club before.
