Gerede e.V. is Dresden's association for sexual and gender diversity, offering counselling, education and meeting space for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and inter people and their families and friends. It has worked on these issues since the early 1980s.
It runs psychosocial and legal counselling, including a dedicated service for queer refugees and migrants going through the asylum process, alongside German-language groups for newcomers. It also organises meeting groups split by gender and by interest, among them a gaming group, a running group and a crafts group, plus wider cultural and educational events.
The building's main entrance has ten steps, so it is not step-free.
