BOYS is one of the oldest gay bars in Dresden and the usual first stop of a night in the Neustadt, on Alaunstraße in the middle of the quarter. It calls itself the queer living room of the city.
There is a dance floor and a bar, karaoke nights, DJ nights and themed evenings, with pop as the default. The bar states plainly that age, gender, orientation and origin make no difference at the door, and the crowd is mixed rather than men only. Seats outside on the street in summer, and sport on the screen when there is any.
