The Burgtorclub is Dortmund's drag and travesti club, on Burgwall in the city centre. It has been the address for that kind of evening in the Ruhr for decades, and local reviewers call it one of the first and last places in Dortmund where you can go out queer.
The programme is built around travesti and drag shows, with karaoke and live music alongside them. It is a nightclub rather than a bar, and the room is old-fashioned in a way its regulars treat as the point.
It is open to trans people, gay men, lesbians and anyone else who wants to be there. A drag tour under the club's name started from here in June 2026.
