gentleM is a queer café, bar and event lounge on Bornstraße, a few minutes north of Dortmund's main station. It started in Dortmund as a gay bar in 2008, left the city in 2012 and kept going in Essen, then came back to Dortmund in December 2024 with a second room at this address.

It is a bar with a programme rather than a nightclub: karaoke, bingo and themed nights run through the week, and the two locations share them. The crowd is queer in the wide sense, women and non-binary guests included, which the bar makes a point of.
