Barcelon Colonia opened in 2011 in the Altstadt near Heumarkt and runs on a loose Barcelona theme. The drinks list is longer than the street needs, with around forty-five gins alongside cocktails, long drinks, wine, spirits and beer.
At weekends and on public holidays it opens early and serves cake and coffee before turning into a bar for the evening. There is a sun terrace when the weather allows.
Themed parties run through the year. The room is small and gets loud once it fills.
