About this Event
Cham holds its CSD in the eastern Upper Palatinate, not far from the Czech border. It is carried by the queer network that also runs the Prides in Amberg and Schwandorf, together with a local alliance for tolerance and human rights.
The demonstration assembles at the Bahngraben and walks through the town by way of Forstamtstraße, Ludwigstraße, Steinmarkt, Alrunastraße and Rosenstraße, finishing on the Marktplatz. The closing rally there has information stands and an awareness tent.
All three Prides the network runs in 2026 share one motto, Queer muss zusammenhalten, kein LGB ohne das T. That puts trans, inter and non-binary rights at the centre of the whole year rather than treating them as one theme among several.
