About this Event
Bremen holds one of the larger Christopher Street Days in northern Germany. The 2026 edition drew 33,000 people through the city centre in the rain, and the association behind it has already fixed the next date and opened its planning.
The demonstration runs through the Innenstadt and ends on a rally square in the museum quarter, with a stage in front of the Goethetheater carrying speeches and performances and a second stage nearby. The route for this edition is still being agreed with the city, so the exact streets are not settled.
The CSD here is run by a registered association that works on it the whole year, with an open motto workshop in spring deciding what the day is about. The demands are published on its own site and grouped by subject rather than left as slogans.
Bremen is compact and the whole thing happens within walking distance of the Hauptbahnhof.
