Little Break Café

A small café on Herner Straße, run by queer people and open to everyone. The kitchen is vegetarian and vegan and mostly sweet: mole cake, carrot cake, banana bread, muffins, tiramisu, lemon cake, with a different selection each day.

Much of what happens here is made rather than talked about. There are game afternoons, a knitting and crochet evening, and workshops in sewing, candle making and crochet. The café says those formats suit people who do not communicate verbally, or would rather not, which is a rare thing to plan for.

It is in the north of the city, a few minutes from the U35 stop Feldsieper Straße.
