About this Event
Ansbach holds its Christopher Street Day in winter, on purpose. While most Bavarian towns march in summer, the Middle Franconian town puts its Pride on the first weekend of November, under the motto "Vielfalt kennt keine Jahreszeit" (diversity knows no season).
It starts with a rally on Martin-Luther-Platz, below the Gothic towers of St. Gumbertus, and then moves off as a march through the old town centre. The afternoon and evening carry on with a party, and the day winds down more quietly in a local pub.
The CSD grew out of an initiative by the town's youth council and was revived in 2025 together with Franken Pride e.V., a Franconian queer association that also organises the CSD in Fürth. Wrap up warm.
