Saturday Parade Follows Established Route
The main demonstration on Saturday will follow the familiar route from Leipziger Strasse via Potsdamer Platz and Nollendorfplatz to the Brandenburg Gate, with the march setting off at midday. Around one million people typically take part in Berlin's CSD parade, making it one of the largest Pride events in Europe.Motto Tied to Berlin's Autumn Election
This year's motto, "Haltung ist hot" (Attitude is hot), places the entire Pride weekend in the context of Berlin's Abgeordnetenhaus election in September. The campaign is designed to encourage the city's queer community and wider civil society to engage with the democratic process. It will be particularly aimed at younger voters, as 16- and 17-year-olds will be eligible to cast their ballots in a Berlin state election for the first time. The CSD organisers described the expansion as a direct response to growing hostility towards LGBTQ+ communities. The additional day is intended to increase visibility and send a signal of solidarity and resilience, both within Berlin and beyond.
Official Party at Kreuzberg Venue
The official CSD main party, House of Pride, will take place on Saturday evening at the Aquahofe complex near Moritzplatz in Kreuzberg. The event spans three connected venues and seven dance floors, with more than 50 artists performing across a programme lasting over twelve hours from 21:00 onwards. Reduced-price tickets are available for under-21s, students, trainees and those receiving basic income support.Berlin's Pride Month kicks off on 26 June, with the "Haltung ist hot" campaign running across online channels and public spaces in the city through to election day on 20 September.
