Villa Bacchus is a guesthouse for men in the countryside outside Vidauban, in the Var between the Provence vineyards and the coast. It calls itself a maison d'hote 100% masculin and a 100% gay bed and breakfast.
Five rooms are let. Three sit on the ground floor with a private terrace and their own bathroom, and two are conversions: a caravan in a shaded corner of the grounds and a container cabin with a view over umbrella pines. Breakfast is included, and lunch and dinner are served at a shared table under a pergola.
The garden has a naturist pool, a heated spa kept warm through the winter and two areas set aside for lying about. Massages can be booked. The house can also be taken over by a group, and there is a day rate for people who are not staying the night.
The villa stands among vines and umbrella pines with rock outcrops behind it. The Gulf of Saint-Tropez and the Esterel coast are both a drive away.
