L'Escale is a chambres d'hôtes with a table d'hôtes in Verdun-sur-le-Doubs, the small town in Saône-et-Loire where the Doubs flows into the Saône. It fills a large house on the main avenue that has been renovated throughout and furnished with a mix of Louis XVI pieces and modern ones.
There are two rooms, both over 30 square metres with their own bathroom. The larger sleeps four in a double and two single beds. La Romanée is a suite for two with an Italian shower and a freestanding bathtub in the middle of the room.
Guests share a heated pool, a jacuzzi hung with white curtains, the garden, a terrace and a veranda with a barbecue. Dinner at the host's table can be booked.
